First Friday with Christine Eagon

We are excited to be hosting artist Christine Eagon for October’s First Friday event at our Vancouver Gallery office. Eagon finds imagery and inspiration both in her quiet Vancouver neighborhood and thousands of miles away. While traveling in England, she used the circle motif as a tool to see the landscape and compose a painting. Eagon says, “Locally I have seen Perseid meteor showers, the super moon rising as the sun set on the horizon of the Pacific Ocean, and many unforgettable and brilliant starry nights. My circle paintings are inspired by these vivid experiences.” Please join us this Friday, October 2 at 402 W 8th St Vancouver, WA for art, live music, cocktails and appetizers!

First Friday in Bend with Diane Browning

We are excited to host Diane Browning for October’s First Friday event in Bend. Browning credits the beginning of her career as a professional textile designer and sewer to her childhood, when her mother taught her to make clothes for her dolls. As Browning grew up, she began sewing her own and eventually she turned her passion for designing and creating textiles into a career as an artist. Please join us this Friday, October 2 from 5-8pm at our Bend location (650 SW Bond St. Bend, OR, 97702) for art, live music and appetizers! Event sponsored by Norma DuBois and Julie Moe.

Cascade Sotheby’s Opens Lake Oswego Office

Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty is excited to announce our newest office in Lake Oswego officially opened today, Tuesday, September 29. The new space in downtown Lake Oswego’s Lake View Village is the first in Lake Oswego and the 10th in the Cascade Sotheby’s profile and is home to 35-40 brokers and staff members. Please join us for a special celebration tonight from 5-8pm as we celebrate the opening of our new space with wine, art and live music. A ribbon cutting from the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce will kick off the event at 5pm.

First Thursday with Deb Stoner

We are happy to be hosting artist Deb Stoner for October’s First Thursday event in the Pearl District. Stoner’s work is a scrupulous composition of plant species and insects magnified sixteen times and printed on a large scale. The inspiration typically comes from a visit to a neighbor’s yard, a friend calling with a tip that a special tree is in bloom, or her husband beckoning from the garden. Please join us this Thursday, October 1st at our Pearl District Location for art, live music, cocktails and appetizers!

The Casner family is excited to realize their dream of home-ownership. Construction on their home will begin March 2016 and has an expected completion date of late Summer 2016.
With a fundraising objective of $75,000, we welcome any tax-deductible donations from brokers, community members and businesses alike. Donations can be dropped off at any of our offices or you can click here to donate online today. Additionally, a generous silent supporter has agreed to match all contributions made by October 23, 2015. Please note that Habitat for Humanity will also accept in-kind gifts of materials and services from businesses and contractors. With the help of our clients, brokers & community partners, we are confident we can reach our goal.

Third Thursday Success

Last Thursday, September 17, Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty kicked off the first Third Thursday event in our new Lake Oswego location in Lake View Village. The event included art from Bend area artist KC Lockrem who specializes in mixed-media collage, wine from our in-house wine bar, music from local musician Warren Dexter and a special donation to our Lake Oswego Schools Foundation. The Third Thursday event is the first of its kind in Lake Oswego and we hope it catches on throughout the community. Special thanks to our neighbors Bank of Oswego who joined for the evening and also great to partner with so many Lake View Village businesses including Grapevine, Blast Burger, Mela and 5 Spice. Bend’s First Friday with Kevin Prather & Jonathan Ludwig

Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty welcomes artists Kevin Prather and Jonathan Ludwig to Bend’s First Friday on September 4th. Prather is a Bend native who has always enjoyed drawing, but has taken his illustrations to the next level in the past five years – bold black lines and pop culture references are present in a lot of his work. Ludwig, also a native Oregonian, often utilizes bold color and abstract imagery to create imaginative pieces with mixed media. Please join us at our downtown office (821 NW Wall Street) from 5-8 PM this Friday for complimentary appetizers and wine as well as the opportunity to meet these truly original artists.

Please join us this Friday, September 4th at 402 W 8th St Vancouver, WA for art, live music, cocktails and appetizers!
