Southshore is the premier oceanfront community on the central coast of Oregon with miles of sandy beaches just a few steps from your door. Newport is officially known as the Dungeness Crab Capital of the World and is home to the scenic Yaquina Bay Bridge, the Yaquina Bay and Yaquina Head Lighthouses, NOAA's Pacific Fleet, the Hatfield Marine Science Center and the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
